Candle Care

Candle Care & Safety

-The first burn is the most important burn in preventing memory rings in soy. For first burn let candle reach a full melt pool to edges before extinguishing. (Usually 1 hour will cover 1 diameter)
-Trim your wicks with a wick trimmer to 1/4 inch after each burn once candle has solidified and is back to room temperature. Remove all wick debris before lighting each time.
-Keep your wicks centered at all times. Long or un-centered wicks can cause uneven burning and possible jar cracking.
-Candle containers will become hot, handle with care and place burning candles on a flat heat resistant surface.
-Keep all candles out of the reach of children and pets!
-Do not burn candles near anything that can catch fire.
-Remember to leave 1/2 inch of unburned wax at the bottom of each container to keep from cracking containers.
-Do not leave a candle burning unattended! Extinguish all candles when leaving that area. Please extinguish before sleeping.
-Do not burn candles for more than 4 hours at a time.

Due to the nature of soy wax, you may notice "frosting" or a spot where the wax has pulled slightly away from the jar. This is completely normal for soy wax and will not affect your candle's scent throw (how much it smells) or the quality of the candle in any way.
